  138.   IMPORTANT:  SEE is becoming quite popular with software developers, who are
  139.   using it for on-disk documentation.  This means that we sometimes get calls
  140.   from users who press  F1  and see our phone number in the help screen.   We
  141.   have modified the screen accordingly,  but we still expect that we will get
  142.   occasional support calls for  other products.   If you are going to use SEE
  143.   in your product, we recommend that you do the following:

  145.   (A) State your phone number clearly at the beginning of your documentation.
  146.  
  147.   (B) Phone us up and let us know that you will be using SEE in your package.
  148.       We'll note down your number so we can direct your customers to you.

  150.   CUSTOM VERSIONS: If you need a few changes to any of the SEE utilities, you
  151.   can contract Pinnacle Software to make them for you. Modifications are per-
  152.   formed at a rate of  $35 per hour.   This rate can be reduced if we believe
  153.   your requirement would appeal to a wide range of our customers.

  155.   SOURCE CODE LICENSE:  You can purchase the Turbo Pascal source code for SEE
  156.   for $135. This entitles you to distribute modified versions of the program.
  157.   The license requires that the program be distributed under a different name
  158.   and requires that you do not divulge the source code to anybody not holding
  159.   a SEE source license for the same or later version.

  161.   MANUALS:  When creating on-disk documentation, we recommend that you:
  162.  
  163.   (A)  Make sure that no page is longer than 55 lines.   Although most matrix
  164.        printers have a page-length of  66 lines,  most laser printers  have a
  165.        page length of 55.   Separate your pages with a form feed,  that is to
  166.        say: ASCII 12, Hex $0C.  You can see an example of the form feed char-
  167.        acter on the line before the DISTRIBUTION HINTS title box, above.

  169.   (B)  Indent the text slightly to give the user room for a three-hole punch.
  170.
